Games, trading tools and experiences connected to Papertrade.
We cover games, trading terminals, analytics, tokenomics and decision tools, identifiable prototypes and playful experiences with a documented connection to Papertrade. A finished game is not required for editorial consideration.
- Games
- Projects with a game loop, rules or player interaction that use Papertrade or publicly announce a specific intended integration.
- Prototypes & experiments
- Early implementations or demonstrations by an identifiable creator. We describe what has been shown and what remains unconfirmed.
- Playful trading interfaces
- Experiences built around trading interaction. We describe them as interfaces or experiences when calling them games would be misleading.
- Casino & wagering experiences
- The nature of the experience, currencies and known access conditions must be explicit. A listing does not establish legality in a reader’s location or guarantee the safety of funds.
General Papertrade news belongs in editorial coverage; it does not require inventing a game profile. Ideas and editorial illustrations are concepts, not evidence that an external project exists. Unrelated games, token promotion alone and use of the Papertrade name without a supported connection do not qualify for a real-project listing.
An original source behind the claim.
- Identify the project. Use its public name, or explicitly state that a descriptive name is provisional.
- Document the connection. Explain how the project uses Papertrade, or attribute an intended integration to its creator. A plan is not proof that the integration works.
- Provide an original public source. A creator’s announcement, official project website, documentation or public demonstration must support the key admission claims. A link that merely mentions the name is insufficient.
- State what is known. Distinguish the creator’s statements, what the editor could observe and what is still unknown. Add public access instructions when available.
A community tip or a secondary article can help us find a project. We seek the original evidence before publishing its profile. Private messages and confidential documents are not published as public sources without permission.
Four groups. A clear stage for every project.
In Play · Accessible playable builds
- Live
- A launched game available under its normal access conditions.
- Early Access
- A playable game still under active development. Content and features may change significantly.
- Playtest
- A playable version made available for testing, temporarily or by invitation. Explain the access window and requirements.
Trading Desk · Accessible trading terminals and execution interfaces
Trading Terminal and Trading profiles belong here when their Papertrade interface is accessible. Live means normal public access, Early Access means an accessible version still in development, and Playtest means limited or temporary test access. An accessible interface does not prove that trading execution, permissions or fees have been tested. Gaming experiences remain in In Play.
Paper Tools · Analytics, tokenomics and decision tools
Dashboards, data explorers, tokenomics resources, portfolio trackers and tools that help inform trading decisions belong here. Use Analytics & Data, Tokenomics or Trading Tools as the project type. Live, Early Access and Playtest describe access. Document data sources, methods, update frequency and known limitations; a displayed calculation is not proof of complete or accurate data. Tools that primarily place trades belong in Trading Desk.
On Paper · No confirmed accessible version
- Announced
- An identifiable creator has publicly announced the project. No accessible playable build is confirmed.
- Prototype
- An early implementation has been demonstrated, without a version players can access. Once a test is accessible, classify it as In Play → Playtest for a game or Trading Desk → Playtest for a terminal or Paper Tools → Playtest for an analytics or decision tool.
- Inactive
- A documented closure, unavailable service or another supported reason indicates inactivity. A former playable project can move here. Silence alone does not establish abandonment.
On Paper profiles describe real projects and count towards coverage. Purely editorial illustrations are kept in the administration only, outside all four public groups and all coverage figures.
The group distinguishes accessible games, trading terminals, analytics and decision tools, and projects without confirmed access; the subcategory describes development and availability. They do not certify identity, code security, financial outcomes or an official partnership. A trailer or screenshot alone cannot establish playable access.
Know exactly what a label means.
- Source Checked
- A named editor checked a specific claim against the linked public source on the stated date. This does not prove every statement on a profile or establish a working integration.
- Playtested
- A named tester accessed the stated build and describes the test’s scope and date, with public evidence. A limited playtest does not establish uninterrupted availability, fairness, code security or the safety of funds.
- Audit Report
- A public technical audit report is linked, with the named auditor or organisation, report date, audited version or contract reference and scope. The report can contain unresolved findings. Its presence is not a security certification, and changes after the reviewed version may be outside its scope.
These labels are separate from In Play / Trading Desk / Paper Tools / On Paper, the editorial score and community ratings. A score is an opinion, not a verification. One type of check never implies another. Labels are recorded by the editorial team and require all supporting fields; neither a source link alone nor the previous AUDIT checkbox creates one automatically.
Dates describe the recorded check or report, not the latest page edit or a continuous review. If evidence becomes unavailable or a project changes beyond its documented scope, the team should update or remove the label while retaining the saved editorial history.
Review first. Publish with context.
The editorial team checks the evidence, looks for an existing profile and decides whether the proposal belongs in the directory. Sending a proposal does not automatically publish it or guarantee admission.
When evidence is incomplete, the team can ask for clarification, retain a draft or decline the proposal with an explanation. Creators and discoverers can discuss a decision in their private submission conversation.
Our standard is to correct material errors, explain important changes and retain the editorial decision history. Last Documented Check shows the most recent dated Source Checked or Playtested record, with its scope and evidence. Audit report dates are separate. Publication Updated changes when a different public version is published; a private draft save does not change that date. Earlier publication dates that were not recorded are shown as unknown. A page modification date does not, by itself, mean that every claim has been checked again. If a source disappears or access changes, the description should be reviewed rather than silently treated as current.
A listing is information, not an endorsement.
Normal editorial consideration and factual corrections are free. Purchasing publicity does not determine admission, buy a favourable rating or prove a project’s quality or safety. Any paid placement must be identified and distinguished from organic editorial selection.
Papergames is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Papertrade. A profile, community vote, editorial score or reviewed submission does not constitute investment advice, a security guarantee or a promise of returns.
Two paths. Clear credit.
I Discovered a Project
Use this path for someone else’s project. Only the first eligible third-party discovery of a new project can earn 50 XP at its first official publication. The first reward includes the Common Paper Scout badge, with no extra badge XP.
Share a Discovery ↗I’m the Creator
Use this path if you created the project, work on its team or represent it. The editorial review and conversation are private. Creator submissions earn no discovery XP or Paper Scout badge.
Present My Project ↗Duplicates, existing projects and owner previews do not qualify for discovery rewards. Proposer attribution is reviewed before publication; sending the same project again does not create another reward. Public Paper Scouts cards require the member’s consent and editorial approval.
For an error on an existing profile, use Suggest a Correction on that profile. Track it in My Corrections, with a public source or a reproducible explanation. Corrections stay private and earn no discovery XP. You can also email admin@papergames.xyz if you need help. For your submitted proposal, use its private conversation. Please do not create a duplicate discovery just to request a correction.
