Botpaper presents a Telegram bot for following BTC/ETH Papertrade traders with user-selected size and leverage limits. Its dated states must be kept distinct. VEILLE observed DEMO and simulated operation on 25 October, pending an explicit live switch; no demonstration was started. A separate FICHES read on 26 October found the homepage changed to LIVE, with /connect plus a signature and claims of real copying and self-trading. The exact time and actual activation of that change were not established.
The current /demo/ page presents a live chart and locked position preview. It explicitly says orders are not submitted there and refers users to Telegram for real trading. No Show positions button, Telegram link, bot command, wallet, preview or simulated order was activated. The /demo path alone does not establish the bot's current operating mode.
@lil_Skip_'s 25 October announcement claims builder approval and a 24-hour delay, while still calling the bot a demo. The current site claims approval onchain, but no specific Botpaper builder address or technical registration was independently established. The visible registry table exposed only 25 of 41 approved rows, so an absent name there is not proof of non-approval. Operator identity is not independently certified.
The site describes 30-day session keys limited to opening/closing, without withdrawal, staking or claim rights, and revocation onchain. It claims funds remain on Papertrade and more than 22 wallets are vetted. These are operator statements, not audited permissions, custody or trader quality. Storage, caps, price delays, outage handling, revocation and account safety were not tested.
The claimed 0.5% builder fee and no-extra-fee wording do not establish complete costs: protocol impact, win fees, adjusted PnL, loss basis and payout-queue conditions need reconciliation. On Paper / Prototype conservatively records unresolved real availability, retaining the historical DEMO and current LIVE claim separately. No trade, deposit, signature, claim, bot message or reward was tested.
