Paper Cuts is a beta trading game by Voltrade that uses the player's own Papertrade account to open and close BTC perpetual positions. Voltrade announced the game as live on 16 October 2026.
The interface combines a live BTC chart with an Algo Board showing the positions of 50 scalping algorithms. The board's shadow positions are simulated; launching a run trades with the player's actual Papertrade balance.
Timed mode runs an algorithm for one, two or three minutes. Auto mode follows its signals until the configured take-profit or maximum-loss limit is reached, or the run is stopped or liquidated. Manual mode lets the player open a long or short and choose when to close while watching the algorithm board.
The game offers leverage from 100x to 1000x. Eligible losing trades can mint Papertrade's PAPER token under the protocol's rules. Paper Cuts is presented as a game rather than a guaranteed-profit bot; the public page notes that most high-leverage runs lose their margin.
The public interface and official announcement were reviewed. No trade was executed as part of this editorial review.
No documented verification labels yet. Consult the project’s sources and access conditions.
These are dated, limited checks recorded by the editorial team. They are separate from the project’s availability, editorial score and community ratings. An audit report may contain unresolved findings; its presence is not a security certification. How Our Labels Work ↗
1. Sign in to Voltrade and verify the wallet associated with your Papertrade account. A funded Papertrade trading balance is required for real runs.
2. Enable trading using the session-key flow described by Voltrade. The official page says this key can open and close positions for 30 days but cannot withdraw or move funds.
3. Choose an algorithm, leverage and margin. The page lists 50 algorithms and leverage from 100x to 1000x. The catalogue advertises runs from $10.
4. Choose Timed for a one-, two- or three-minute session; Auto for repeated signal-driven trades with take-profit and maximum-loss settings; or Manual to manage a long or short yourself.
5. Monitor the run. Close position flattens the current trade; STOP ends an automated run. Orders are subject to Papertrade's queue. Each trade uses the configured margin, which can be lost on liquidation.
The Algo Board displays simulated shadow positions. These should be distinguished from a real run using the player's Papertrade balance.
Paper Cuts has been added to the PaperGames directory. Explore Voltrade’s Papertrade trading game, its Timed, Auto and Manual modes, and the documented access requirements in the project profile.
The project is listed in In Play / Early Access. This event announces its addition to PaperGames, rather than a new game release. The listing does not imply that PaperGames has tested trading or financial outcomes.
The official Paper Cuts page states that every run trades a BTC perpetual on the user's own papertrade.xyz account at Hyperliquid's mid-price. It describes a Papertrade session key that permits opening and closing positions for 30 days, without withdrawal or fund-transfer rights. The launch announcement explicitly names @papertrade_xyz and states that eligible losses mint PAPER. Public interface access was verified; successful trade execution and the session-key permissions were not independently tested.
Voltrade announces Paper Cuts as live, describes deploying a scalping algorithm on Papertrade and links to the game. PAPER minting is tied to eligible trading losses.
